Sway Carnival Week 2017/8

 This year was a bumper year for fundraising –the best year ever -thanks to the lovely weather, the hard work of the committee and those who organised the events but most especially to everyone who attended the events and gave so generously,- . A big thank you.

This year we raised considerably more than previous years and we therefore hope that any village organisation who would benefit from some additional funding , will put in their requests this month.

This year’s  Carnival Procession was particularly successful , partly due to the theme –it gave lots of choice and created a colourful and exciting parade. So we are giving the people of Sway the opportunity to come up with a theme for Sway Carnival 2018 – any ideas will be considered by the committee and hopefully we will find one that will be as successful as this year’s. Any ideas you may have please put in the box in Winkworth Estate Agents in the village.

Our A.G.M will be on November 22nd at 7.30.in Sway Village Hall. All are welcome.
