It is ideally situated in the heart of the beautiful New Forest and is close to the world-renowned yachting centre of Lymington with Bournemouth and Southampton within easy reach by car and rail. The nearest rail station is Sway, just a 5-10 minute walk and Brockenhurst rail station is less than 15 minutes drive by car.
Our home is arranged into three accommodation areas with a total of 68 beds; the ground floor provides assisted living accommodation and features studio suites and one bedroom apartments, where residents can live as independently as they wish and their abilities permit; on the second floor, the 'Nostalgia Neighbourhood' is devoted to providing support to residents living with dementia. We also have 14 supported living cottages for those residents who wish to retain a greater sense of independence, whilst having the option of help when required.
In the main home, the spacious Atrium provides a central meeting point and features a grand piano where residents and guests can relax and enjoy the many musical events. Comfortable, stylish rooms for communal use include the Ladies Sitting Room, used for invite-only afternoon tea and the knitting group. The Gentlemens' Club regularly meets in the Library and we have a TV lounge for catching up on the latest news and interesting programmes.
We provide a choice of two restaurants, The Jubilee Restaurant and a private dining room, which is available for residents and their families to enjoy special occasions and Sunday roasts. The Tea Palace is open every day serving afternoon tea, coffee and delicious cakes. Residents who want to enjoy a convivial drink or night cap, can relax in the fully licensed Ella's Bar, named after music legend Ella Fitzerald.
